TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - After four weeks of voting, it’s official: we have a 2025 Play of the Year.

Starting with 12 Plays of the Week, every week we’ve whittled down plays by fan votes until we settled on the top Play of the Year for the 2025 high school football season.

Suwannee’s Koy Frier brings home the top honor, after amassing more 8600 votes the final week of voting. Madison County’s Quez Christian finished second with 6,778 votes, while Aucilla Christian’s Ben Faglie finished third with 6,256 votes.

Over the four total weeks, Frier accumulated over 17,000 total votes. His 68 yard touchdown run was the Play of the Week for October 23rd , when he captured over 1000 of over 1500 votes.
