A beloved holiday tradition enters its third decade Thursday evening as Lodi’s 30th Annual Parade of Lights illuminates downtown. The free, family-friendly event begins at 6:17 p.m. and is expected to draw nearly 30,000 spectators eager to ring in the holiday season.

Each year, downtown Lodi transforms into a winter wonderland of lights, music and community cheer. More than 80 dazzling floats, marching bands, dance troupes and themed vehicles will wind through the heart of downtown, all decked out in thousands of twinkling lights. The evening culminates with a special appearance by Santa Claus, who will arrive atop a Lodi fire truck to spread holiday joy.
