ZACHARY, La. (WAFB) - Multiple of the Christmas events planned for the Capital region have been delayed or cancelled ahead of the rainy weekend.

The Broadmoor Christmas parade has been cancelled due to rainy, cold weather conditions.

The Zachary Christmas Parade will roll at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, about 3 hours later than the original time.

The Brusly Christmas Tree lighting has been rescheduled to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 7.
