SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - The arrest or accusation of a teacher for an inappropriate relationship will make headlines.

One in 10 students would experience school employee sexual misconduct by the time they graduate from high school. This is according to the Office of Justice Programs report from December 2017 .

“Situations like this, and we haven’t had any situations like this, thankfully to my knowledge ever, but in situations like that we have multiple steps in place,” said Brett Mitchell, the Superintendent of the Dora School District.
