LEWISBURG — Students at Bucknell University envision turning urine into drinking water and sunlight into power for handheld devices.

On Thursday, these were two of 54 teams’ projects highlighted at Engineering 100’s “Engineering a Resilient Future for Our World” expo in the Terrace Room of the Elaine Langone Center. Engineering 100 is a class for first-year students that provides an introduction to the study and practice of engineering, including overviews of specific disciplines.
