LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

It's been three weeks since representatives from the Small Business Administration set up shop in the Community Resource Center with a goal to help businesses affected by the UPS Plane Crash.

So far, SBA representative Elizabeth Canfil said they've met with around 40 business owners, out of 100.

"I know when folks think about applying for loans in any capacity, it can seem a little bit daunting. So having that one-on-one support really helps folks walk through the process," said Canfil.

Business owners no longer need an appointment to consult with the SBA at the community resource center. Loans have fixed interest rates of 4%, and payments are not required until after the first year. The loan can be up to $2 million.
