GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen and local senators outlined their priorities for the upcoming legislative session during the Grand Island Economic Development Corporation and Chamber of Commerce’s legislative kickoff session Thursday.
The event featured Pillen along with Sen. Dan Quick of Grand Island and Sen. Loren Lippincott of Central City, each discussing issues they hope to address in next year’s session.
Property tax relief remains Pillen’s focus
Pillen said he wants to address property taxes, an issue he campaigned on in 2022 and hopes to advance before his reelection bid in November.
