ROCHESTER, Minn. — The United Way of Southeast Minnesota has reached a significant milestone in its Workplace Giving Campaign, surpassing the one-million-dollar mark. Over 2,000 community members contributed, with donations ranging from $1 to $10,000. The United Way says the funds raised provide essential support such as groceries for families, safe spaces for survivors, books for children, and transportation for medical appointments. United Way is aiming to double this achievement, calling on the community to help reach $2,000,000 by year's end. "For a century we’ve stood beside families through war, floods, pandemics, and everyday struggles," United Way President Jerome Ferson said. "If you’ve donated before, thank you. If you’re considering it, now is the time."
