FORT HOOD, Texas (Island News) -- A former OBGYN at Tripler Army Medical Center who is accused of secretly recording his female patients during examinations was arrested on Tuesday in Texas.

Fort Hood officials ordered Maj. Blaine McGraw, a former OBGYN at Tripler, into pretrial confinement on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, for apparently violating conditions of liberty imposed by his commander, according to the U.S. Army Fort Hood Media Center. McGraw is currently being held in the Bell County Jail in Texas.

A pretrial confinement review will be conducted by a neutral and detached military magistrate within seven days in order to determine whether continued confinement is warranted.
