MOUNT PLEASANT—Central Michigan University’s football team is eagerly awaiting the announcement of their bowl game opponent after a successful season, highlighted by standout performances from defenders Jordan Kwiatkowski and Michael Heldman.
Both Kwiatkowski and Heldman were announced as All-MAC First Team players, recognizing their exceptional contributions on the field. Heldman, a senior defensive lineman, ranked in the top 10 nationally in tackles for loss with 16 and sacks with 10.5. Kwiatkowski, a senior linebacker, was among the top 20 nationally in tackles and forced fumbles, and led CMU in interceptions.
The Chippewas finished the regular season with a 7-5 record under first-year head coach Matt Drinkall. Their strong performance throughout the season has earned them recognition
