The undefeated Archbishop Riordan Crusaders (12-0) will put their perfect season on the line Friday night when they travel to face the defending state semifinalist Folsom Bulldogs (12-1) in the CIF State Football Championship Division 1-AA regional final.
The Crusaders, fresh off a convincing 33-13 victory over Junipero Serra two weeks ago, will face their toughest test yet against a battle-tested Bulldogs squad that narrowly escaped Oak Ridge 21-14 in last week’s sectional final.
With a berth in the December 12 state championship game at stake, this clash between Northern California powerhouses promises to deliver championship-caliber football as Riordan’s high-powered offense attempts to solve Folsom’s championship pedigree on the Bulldogs’ home turf.
Opening kickoff is set for 7:30
