PALMERTON, Pa. — Going into his senior year, Palmerton’s Logan Anthony was a highly sought after recruit.
His parents remember taking him on seven campus visits in a five-day span in his junior year.
But the talented interior lineman landed in the Big 10. He’s the first football player from Palmerton Area High School to land at Rutgers.
"The biggest thing, one of them, was the coaching staff. I felt like I could get the best development to my potential," said Anthony. "I went to countless other places and it was just like I fit in. I felt at home," said Anthony.
Palmerton held a signing ceremony for Anthony in the school's library on Thursday. Anthony sent in his signed national letter of intent on Wed. December 3rd.
