OWENSBORO, KY. (WFIE) - If you haven’t heard, both Owensboro and Owensboro Catholic, are headed to state, this weekend! We previewed the Aces, on Tuesday.

Thursday, we previewed the Red Devils. How did they get here? Well, OHS won the class 5A semifinal, 49-6, over Woodford County, last week. They had a running clock by halftime, and actually, they’ve had a running clock, in three of their four playoff wins!

How about this absurd stat? The Devils outscored their four playoff opponents, by a combined score of 194 to 34! Needless to say, Owensboro is playing its best football, at the right time of the season, firing on all cylinders.
