Jahmyr Gibbs is quickly making a case not just as one of the best running backs in the current NFL but one of the most promising young RBs in the history of football.

The Detroit Lions ' superstar put on a show again on Thursday Night Football, running for three touchdowns as the Lions beat the Dallas Cowboys , 44-30.

In the process, Gibbs gave himself 47 touchdowns for his career.

That ties Barry Sanders for the NFL record for a player before turning 24 years old, and it's also the record for a player in his first three NFL seasons.

Gibbs won't turn 24 until March, so he's pretty much certain to set new records on both those fronts.
