MOSES LAKE, Wash. — It was standing room only during the Moses Lake School District's school board meeting as many attendees spoke against the ongoing strike between teachers and the district.

A majority of the attendees KREM 2 spoke with during the meeting tell us they aren't parents or teachers. They're community members wanting answers to this ongoing strike taking place in the Moses Lake School District for nearly a week now.

Tensions rose during a packed Moses Lake School District board meeting.

The hot-button topic was nowhere to be found on the agenda, but on everyone's minds. Teachers are continuing to strike after a breakdown in contract negotiations. Specifically due to prep time for teachers and educational programs.
