A Gloucestershire grammar school has been named as the State Secondary School of the Year in the South West for Academic Excellence.
Pate's Grammar School in Princess Elizabeth Way, Cheltenham, has been acclaimed in the The Sunday Times Parent Power list published online today (Friday, December 5).
Also in Cheltenham, Cheltenham Ladies' College in Bayshill Road, has been named the Independent Secondary School of the Year in the Southwest for Academic Excellence
Also ranking highly in the top state secondary school list are Sir Thomas Rich’s School in Gloucester and Stroud High School in Stroud - both grammar schools.
