Niyo: If St. Brown’s playing, Lions always have a shot

Detroit — They say you have to walk before you can run.

So even Amon-Ra St. Brown wasn’t sure at the start of this week whether he’d be able to play in Thursday night’s critical game against the Dallas Cowboys at Ford Field.

The ankle injury that sidelined him early in the Lions ’ Thanksgiving loss to Green Bay left him on crutches and seriously doubting if he’d be in uniform a week later.
