Keir Starmer has been criticised on GB News after Donald Trump issued a warning to the UK about migration and urged the Prime Minister to take action. On Ben Leo's show he welcomed Principal Deputy Spokesman for the Department of State, Tommy Piggit, who stated that mass migration is a "threat to western civilisation". Leo told Piggit that they had 50,000 small boat migrants, prompting Piggit to say it is "horrendous" that there are governments "prioritising migrants over their own communities".

He stated that in the US it is being addressed head-on, but as it was confirmed that Donald Trump is urging Starmer to respond to the migrant crisis, Piggit added: "Be responsive to the concerns of your citizens. That's pretty basic, it's pretty uncontroversial when you think about it."
