Coach Dan Campbell said he told Jared Goff the Lions were going to put Thursday’s game on Goff’s shoulders, and the quarterback delivered. The Lions didn’t bother running the ball much the first three quarters as Goff finished 25-for-34 for 309 yards, his third-highest total of the year. Goff managed the clock well and was sharp on a two-minute drill late in the first half, until he missed a wide-open Isaac TeSlaa for a touchdown.
