It was a record-breaking Friday morning as low temperatures fell to 7 degrees at the Youngstown Warren Regional Airport, which broke the previous daily record low temperature of 9 degrees set back in 1991.
Friday will be a good deal of sunshine with patchy clouds filtering in later in the day. Thankfully, winds will be light, so there won’t be much difference between the air temperature to the wind chill value, although temperatures will remain below the average and below freezing, rising only to the upper 20s.
This weekend will feature some potential for snow, but it’ll generally be pretty quiet. Plenty of clouds will be around on Saturday, with a few flurries around the second half of the day and high temperatures only making it to the low 30s.
