PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Eagles will be without star defensive tackle Jalen Carter when they face the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday night.
But the Eagles have been here before.
Carter, who will not feature on “Monday Night Football” due to shoulder issues, has missed two games already this season. The 2024 All-Pro was ejected before the first snap in Week 1. And in Week 6 against the New York Giants, he was a late scratch with a heel issue.
At least this time the Eagles’ defensive line has time to prepare for life without Carter and it’s not a “last-second thing,” as Moro Ojomo described it.
“Now, we kind of have more of a game plan, more of an idea going into it,” Ojomo said Thursday at the NovaCare Complex. “We’re more aware and ready to perform.”
