(Rapid City, SD) — A Rapid City man is facing charges after a Wednesday shooting inside his apartment. Police say a gun discharged from the East Minnesota Street apartment of 51-year-old Nicholas Murphy into the adjacent apartment. Responding officers say the bullet hole in Murphy’s wall was being hidden by a flag when they arrived. No one was hurt. Murphy faces charges including reckless discharge of a firearm.
