Broward County’s Port Everglades has announced that it has set a new benchmark for performance, based on preliminary Fiscal Year 2025 numbers.
In the cruise market, Port Everglades welcomed a preliminary count of 4,773,873 cruise guests in Fiscal Year 2025, a 16 percent year-over-year increase.
The port said in a press release that this achievement not only breaks the port’s previous cruise record but also solidifies its standing as the third-busiest cruise homeport in the world.
Port Everglades conservatively forecasts hosting more cruise guests in Fiscal Year 2026, with the new cruise season featuring 40 cruise ships from nine lines, as well as a daily ferry.
