Everything you need to know after easyJet flight turns back to Manchester Airport:
Passengers flying from Manchester Airport to Krakow were turned around mid-flight and sent back. An easyJet flight heading to the Polish city was forced to make a return on Thursday evening (December 4).
Krakow Airport had been badly affected by dense fog. The airport had issued a warning to passengers to check for potential disruption throughout the day.
EasyJet flight EZY2263, which left Manchester at 4.45pm, turned around as it flew above Germany on its way to Krakow. It landed back at Manchester at 7.19pm.
The company said it was unable to operate the flight due to 'no improvement in the weather'. Customers were given options to rebook or claim a refund.
