RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Virginia State Police say 10 vehicles were involved in three crashes in the same area on southbound I-95 in Richmond on Friday morning.
“The initial crash occurred when a silver sedan lost control of the vehicle and crashed,” VSP said. “The other remaining crashes occurred as a result of this initial crash being in the roadway. Including a tractor-trailer that has jack-knifed across all lanes of travel.”
The crashes happened around 9:15 a.m. at the Broad Street exit (Exit 74C).
Four people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
