A Gloucester man has been found guilty of murder after a "cowardly" knife attack was captured on a doorbell camera.

Kane Kotwica, 39, of Bibury Road in Gloucester, has been convicted of the murder of 53-year-old Matthew Cainey following a three-week trial at Bristol Crown Court.

The stabbing, during which two other men were seriously injured, took place at a flat on Bedford Street in Gloucester on the morning of May 28 this year.

Kotwica had previously pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article but had pleaded not guilty to the murder of Mr Cainey and not guilty to the charge of attempted murder regarding the two other men.
