Police have shared the dramatic moment a murderer was arrested in a sunny Gloucester street after stabbing three people.

Kane Kotwica has been convicted today (December 5) of the murder of 53-year-old Matthew Cainey , and two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent relating to two other men he also stabbed and seriously injured.

The 39-year-old, of Bibury Road in Gloucester, was convicted at Bristol Crown Court following a three-week trial, having denied murder and claimed he acted in self-defence.

Police shared details of the "cowardly" knife attack at a Gloucester flat, which was captured on a neighbour's doorbell camera. It happened at Bedford Street on the morning of May 28 this year, after which Kotwica fled the property and ditched the weapon down a drain -
