Amazon has been forced to stop selling popular reclining armchairs - due to a 'serious risk' of them setting ablaze while customers sit in them. The Office for Product Safety and Standards issued an urgent warning on the Yaheetech Recliner Armchair sold by Amazon as it 'doesn't meet fire safety requirements'. The report issued last Friday warns there is a potential risk of fire 'if the product is exposed to an ignition source'. The alert claims the fabric-upholstered recliners don't meet the requirements of the Furniture and Furnishings Fire Safety Regulations 1988. In light of this the padded seat has been recalled by Monumart Ltd, who manufactures the chair. The affected batches listed on the government report a
