Construction worker struck by vehicle
On Nov. 24 at 5:19 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a collision on Highway 21 in the area of Underwood. Police attended with Bruce County Paramedic Services and Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services to discover that a 70-year-old construction worker had been struck by a passenger vehicle. The worker was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries and then flown to a London-area trauma centre. Highway 21 was closed between Concession 6 and Concession 8 until approximately midnight. Police and the Ministry of Labour continue to investigate the collision.
