LABOUR politicians are fond of asking the rhetorical question: What difference do Labour make?

They usually answer it with boasts about their paltry record in Government and despite the sunny picture you’ll get from ministers, it seems like what little they are doing is going like a cup of cold sick with the electorate.

But let’s ask the question in a slightly different way: What difference do “Labour” make?

That is to say: What difference does it make when you say and do the same things as Reform and the Tories but just stick the word Labour in front?
