MINNEAPOLIS — The Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Holiday Train has left the station — and is on its way to Minnesota for a 27th year.
The train, which spans Canada and the U.S. from now until Dec. 21, is scheduled to cross the border from La Crosse, Wisconsin, into La Crescent, Minnesota, on Dec. 12.
From there, it'll spread cheer in Winona, Wabasha, Red Wing, Hastings, Cottage Grove, St. Paul's Union Depot, Golden Valley, St. Louis Park, Minneapolis, Loretto, Buffalo, Annandale, Eden Valley, Glenwood, Alexandria, Detroit Lakes, Mahnomen, Plummer, Thief River Falls and Elbow Lake before continuing west into North Dakota.
While the train's annual journey brings festive decorations and free concerts from professional artists to communities across the country, it also plans to raise
