A person living at the Pathways on Park transitional cabins has died, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent reported on Thursday.

The coroner attended and was unable to determine an immediate cause of death, stated a media release from municipality on Friday. “No evidence of foul play was found.”

Municipal officials said out of respect for the individual and their loved ones, no personal information will be released.

“Municipal staff coordinated immediately with emergency services and support is being provided to others at the site, as well as to staff and partner agencies impacted by this tragic incident,” the release said.
