MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio – A Brook Park man, 35, was arrested and cited at about 2:30 p.m. Nov. 22 after his misidentified himself to police, who then found drug paraphernalia in a bag he was carrying.

A manager at Sonesta ES Suites, 17525 Rosbough Drive, called police and said that a man banned from the hotel the previous day had returned. The man was wearing a red jacket.

When police arrived, they saw a man – later identified as the Brook Park man – walking toward Speedway on Bagley Road. He was wearing a red jacket.

Police shouted the first name of the man who had been banned from Sonesta. The man turned around and looked at police.

Police waved the man over to them, asking him to approach them. However, the man walked toward Olive Garden nearby.
