MIAMI, Florida — Burger King is plunging into the holiday season with an undersea-inspired menu tied to the upcoming film “The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants,” unveiling a limited-time lineup of brightly themed items created to channel the world of Bikini Bottom.

The collaboration introduces several new offerings, including a SpongeBob-themed Whopper served on a yellow square bun.

Burger King said that alongside the themed burger, the menu features Mr. Krabs’ Cheesy Bacon Tots, crispy coin-sized bites stuffed with cheese, bacon and potatoes in packaging shaped like a treasure chest. Guests can also try Patrick’s Star-berry Shortcake Pie, a layered strawberry-and-vanilla dessert topped with pink star sprinkles.
