The remains of Trevor Blanchard, a 61-year-old man from Lincolnshire, have been found on farmland after he had been missing for nearly 18 months. Police confirmed the identification of the remains on November 22, following a thorough investigation into his disappearance.

Trevor Blanchard was reported missing in June 2024 from the Spilsby area. Since then, police had issued multiple appeals for information to help locate him, engaging the public in the search efforts. A police spokesman expressed gratitude to those who participated in the appeals, stating, "We are grateful to everyone who shared those appeals and supported the search."

The discovery of the remains was made in Halton Holegate. Authorities have stated that there are no indications of suspicious circumstances or foul play related to the case. The police spokesman added, "Our deepest sympathies are with them and all who knew Trevor at this very difficult time."
