Newman, Ann

Ann Newman (nee Goodman), born Feb. 2, 1931, in Baltimore, passed away surrounded by the love of her family.

Ann was the daughter of Sidney and Ethel Goodman and the beloved sister of Margaret Goodman Huchet (deceased). She was the devoted wife of Charles L. Newman; together they shared an extraordinary 74½ years of marriage.

She was the cherished mother of Margaret Ann Adelman (Richard Adelman) and Dr. Janet Rae Newman (Michael Wise), and the loving grandmother of Noah Harry Wise and Emma Elizabeth Wise. Ann was also a caring aunt to her nieces: Nicole Huchet (Rob Price), Susan Huchet, Ellen Terry Stein (Leslie Stein), and the late Jill Massinger.

Ann attended Oberlin College for two years before marrying Charles. She then transferred to and graduated from Western Reserve University. H
