A fun, kind and smiley dad was stabbed to death by his housemate after he dialled 999 - only to be classed as 'low risk'. Osagie Harrison Aimiyekagbon, affectionately known as 'Harry', was killed by Samuel Opokiti at the Levenshulme house they shared on Sunday 9, July 2023.

An inquest into his death held at Manchester Coroners Court ended on Tuesday (December 3) concluded he died as a result of 'multiple stab and incised wounds'. The fatal attack came following a 999 call in which Harry told the call handler that Opotiki had held a knife to him and had threatened to kill his five-year-old son.

The coroner heard how police were called to the property on Rushmere Avenue at around 8.45pm and found Mr Aimiyekagbon with multiple stab wounds.
