PIERRE, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - An Iroquois man has been charged with a felony count of Aggravated Assault following the Nov. 22 shooting of another man in Iroquois.
Ace Bordeaux, 40, faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
A 47-year-old victim with gunshot wounds was taken to Huron Hospital after a shooting at a home in Iroquois.
The incident is being investigated by South Dakota’s Division of Criminal Investigation and the Kingsbury Sheriff’s Office, with prosecution by the Attorney General’s Office and the Kingsbury County State’s Attorney’s Office.
Bordeaux is out on bond, and his next court appearance has not yet been scheduled.
He is presumed innocent under the U.S. Constitution.
