The Hughson Childcare Centre in downtown Kingston has completed renovations thanks to a $140,900 Capital grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

The funding helped to provide much needed upgrades to the 35,000-square-foot building, which included the installation of eight new rooftop HVAC units, three new basement furnaces, and comprehensive duct cleaning, which would extend the lifespan of the facility.

The upgraded systems will not only provide heating and cooling, but will also reduce noise and energy consumption as well as improve air quality.
