Two men have been charged with robbery, kidnapping and firearm-related charges after a violent home invasion that took place earlier this week in Etobicoke.

Police were called to the area of John Garland Boulevard and Martin Grove Road shortly before 1 a.m. on Wednesday morning for reports of a person with a gun.

At a press conference Thursday afternoon, Insp. Kristy Smith and Supt. Richard Harris of 12 Division provided an update on the home invasion and robbery.

During the incident, one of the victims arrived at a residence in a vehicle when multiple suspects approached in another vehicle. Three individuals confronted the victim, one with a gun drawn, and forced him back into the back seat of his car and drove both the suspect and victim’s vehicle away.
