Two women have been hospitalised after getting hit by a van on a residential road on Friday afternoon.

Police are looking to speak to the driver of the van, who alongside two others, assisted the two pedestrians by taking them both to a medical centre. Both were later transferred to hospital for further treatment. Police believe the van driver may be able to assist them with their enquiries.

A spokesperson for South Wales Police said: "We were called this afternoon just before 2.45pm with a report of a collision between the driver of a van and two women pedestrians on Commercial Street, Ogmore Vale.

"Following the incident the driver of the van, along with two others, provided immediate assistance to the wo
