GLENDALE, Ariz. — Arizona Cardinals Quarterback Kyler Murray will not return to the field for the 2025 season, the team announced on Friday.

Murray, who has been on injured reserve since Week 5 with a foot injury, will not play again this season due to his foot not fully healed, Coach Jonathan Gannon said.

"He wasn't progressing in a way that we wanted, so we went and got a different opinion, some different people, and (the foot) is just not right," Gannon said.

When Gannon was asked about Murray's status with the team in 2026, he did not comment.
