The cost of snowsports in Western Pennsylvania will be higher this season.
Although Thursday was the last day to buy a money-saving Epic Pass, skiers and snowboarders can still save by buying lift tickets, rental equipment and lessons online.
Vail Resorts, which owns Seven Springs and Hidden Valley and operates state-owned Laurel Mountain, announced Friday that the cost of a one-day adult lift ticket (ages 13 and up) purchased in advance will cost $125 at Seven Springs (up $3 from last season), $105 at Hidden Valley (up $4) and $85 at Laurel Mountain (down $1). Lift tickets will once again be limited at all three resorts.
