SARASOTA, Fla. ( WWSB ) - Amazon’s annual “Thank My Driver” program is returning, allowing customers to give five-dollar tips to delivery drivers while the tech company covers the cost.

Amazon officials say the program recognizes workers during the busier-than-usual holiday season.

Amazon testing 30-minute delivery service in some cities

Customers who receive packages from Amazon can participate without opening their own wallets.

To give a driver a bonus, customers can say “Alexa, thank my driver” to their device or visit Amazon’s website and search for “ Thank My Driver .”
