A Londoner is facing a raft of drug and weapons charges after police say officers seized a gun, multiple rounds of ammunition, pills, cocaine, fentanyl and cash in west-end Byron.

Police say officers searched a home on Friday in the area of Commissioners Road and Stephen Street and seized a 9mm Glock handgun loaded with 30 rounds of ammunition, a magazine with 17 rounds of 9mm ammunition inside, 340 grams of cocaine, 56 grams of fentanyl, 112 oxycodone pills, 28 grams of cutting agent and $5,000 in cash.

A 19-year-old man from London is charged with the following offences:

Four counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order.

Three counts of careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition.
