MILFORD, Ohio — Three people are trapped after a trench collapsed in Clermont County Friday evening.
Miami Township Fire & EMS Chief Dave Jetter said three people were putting underground pipes in on Valley Forge Drive when the trench collapsed on them at around 3:50 p.m. Friday. When crews arrived, Jetter said one person was trying to dig the three out.
Two of them were conscious and talking. However, one man is unconscious, Jetter said. All three are Spanish speakers and are communicating with officials through a translator.
The fire department called for additional resources, including help from Hamilton County's Urban Search and Rescue.
