BOSTON —

Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the Museum of Science in Boston, Massachusetts on Friday following reports of a bomb threat.

According to Cambridge police, a person walked into the police station around 3:30 p.m. reporting there may have been an explosive device at the Museum of Science.

Authorities evacuated the building as a precaution.

Police, the Cambridge Fire Department, and Massachusetts State Police searched the museum and found nothing hazardous.

No injuries were reported and the incident remains under investigation.
