LEXINGTON, Neb. —
Gov. Jim Pillen is offering support for the more than 700 workers being laid off as a result of the Tyson Foods plant closure in Nebraska.
The workers showed up at a two-day event offering state support.
Now Pillen is offering more opportunities for people impacted by the closure to seek help.
'They feel like their life is over':
The Departments of Labor and Health and Human Services had staff members at the Dawson County fairgrounds this week.
They offered sessions on programs and services available to workers.
Job fairs are now scheduled in the area Saturday, as well as Thursday, Dec. 11 and Saturday, Dec. 13.

North Platte: Labor located at 600 Francis, Suite 9; HHS at 200 S Silber Ave
