OMAHA, Neb. —

The Board of Regents approved the next phase of the Athletics Campus Masterplan.

The university revealed its plans for a 75,000+ square foot training facility just east of Baxter Arena.

It would feature two practice courts with a 1,300-seat competition court, locker rooms and lounges that will be used by both the men's and women's basketball teams as well as UNO volleyball.

The project also features a skywalk that would give direct access to Baxter Arena.

The proposal also includes a baseball and softball clubhouse, which would be located on the west side of the stadiums. The clubhouse would feature meeting spaces, batting cages, equipment storage, and more.

On Friday, the Regents approved the $67.5 million project.
