EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Today was an exciting afternoon at South Terrace Elementary School, as students and staff celebrated the opening of a brand new STEM lab.
The ribbon was made possible through a partnership with Vincennes University and Purdue IN-MAC.
Students at South Terrace now have access to technology like 3D printing, robotics and other advanced electronics.
School officials say this is a great opportunity for students to be hands-on and learn by doing.
They are hoping it sparks an interest in students that can inspire future careers in STEM.
